Tokopedia raised another round from Softbank Ventures Korea

Tokopedia, a “made in Indonesia” e-commerce platform and one of the youngest in the top 50 most visited websites in Indonesia, today announced that they had received a new round of investment, led by Softbank Ventures Korea.

With this new funding, we can focus to grow our platform to enable more individuals and small businesses in Indonesia to sell their products online, and to build a strong Indonesian internet brand in this fierce global competition market,” said William Tanuwijaya, CEO of Tokopedia, “We have been in touch for more than 2 years with Softbank Ventures Korea, and we can now proudly welcome them to our shareholders team.
