Tokopedia, a leading online-mall in Indonesia with more than 9,000 active shops and 200,000 products listed, today announced its closing of a Series-B investment from CyberAgent Ventures, Inc.

Prior to this investment, in 2009 Tokopedia received funding from PT Indonusa Dwitama, and in 2010 from East Ventures.

Tokopedia today announced that East Ventures, a Singapore-based company focusing on Internet business ventures, has made an investment in Tokopedia in exchange for preferred stock.

Prior to that, in early 2009, Tokopedia has received seed funding from PT. Indonusa Dwitama to launch tokopedia.com in August 2009.

In just seven months of operation, the tokopedia.com website has become one of the fastest-growing online marketplace in Indonesia, based on the number of members, active online shops, available products and daily transactions.
